Gelateria

Piattini Café and Gelateria bring the true flavor of an Italian café
to the Back Bay. We will introduce the first gelateria on Newbury
Street and specialize in freshly made flavors of gelato ? an Italian
iced confection that contains only half the fat and half the calories
of traditional ice cream. Produced by Capogiro our gelato will be made
with local hand picked produce and milk from grass-fed, hormone-free
cows.

A sister of the popular Piattini Wine Cafe next door, Piattini Café
and Gelateria will be the place to drop in for coffee and a hand-made
Italian dessert or pastry; a glass of wine or port accompanied by a
selection of artisinal cheeses or a make-your-own antipasto; a
homemade soup and salad or a gourmet pressed sandwich - all made with
the freshest seasonal ingredients combined with the old world warmth,
authenticity and excellent value that Piattini is known for.

Piattini Café and Gelateria will offer both seated dining and takeout
options. Our wide variety of coffee drinks will be made using the
finest quality blends from La Colombe, a company known for its
commitment to improving the quality of life in poor coffee regions
around the world. And, true to Piattini tradition, a selection of
wines and cordials will also be available by the glass.

Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, our all day service will
be available in a cozy atmosphere evocative of your favorite memories
of Italy.
